(September 12, 2007 - Insidermedicine) This week we focus on Dr. Mark Walker, an Associate Professor of Obstetrics at the University of Ottawa and a Scientist at the Ottawa Health Research Institute.
Dr. Walker's research has been called the "Fetal Framingham" study because he is trying to determine if exposures that happen during conception and birth will affect the body later in life. He is also actively researching twin pregnancy.
I'd like to congratulate Dr. Walker for being selected to appear on Insidermedicine's In the Spotlight. If you believe there is someone conducting world class medical research and would like them to be featured on Insidermedicine's In the Spotlight, please contact us.
